About our service
We do search engine optimization — SEO — exclusively for home service and construction businesses. Electricians, HVAC companies, plumbers, roofers, general contractors, and landscapers. That’s it. We don’t work with restaurants, e-commerce stores, or tech companies. SEO is the process of getting your business to show up higher on Google when homeowners search for your trade. When someone types ”HVAC company near me” or ”electrician [city]” into Google, we work to make sure your business is what they find — and what they call.
We work with home service and construction businesses across the United States: electricians, HVAC companies, plumbers, roofers, general contractors, remodelers, landscapers, painters, cleaning companies, movers, pest control, handyman services, garage door companies and gutter specialists. If you run a trade business and homeowners should be finding you on Google, we can help.
Because it’s the only way to truly know the industry. The keywords homeowners use to find a plumber are different from the ones they use to find a roofer. The seasonality is different. The review dynamics are different. The local competition works differently. When we only serve one industry, every lesson we learn from one client makes us better for the next. You benefit from that depth in a way you simply can’t get from a generalist agency serving 10 different industries.
Google Ads puts your business at the top of search results as long as you keep paying for clicks. The moment you stop paying, you disappear. SEO builds organic rankings that compound over time: once your business is ranking, you keep getting calls without paying per click. Most contractors use SEO as their long-term foundation because the cost per lead goes down every month, not up. We also manage Google Ads for contractors who want faster results alongside SEO.
Your Google Business Profile is what shows up when someone searches your trade in Google Maps — the panel with your name, phone number, reviews, photos, and hours. It’s responsible for a significant share of local contractor calls, particularly through the Map Pack (the top three businesses that appear in local search results). We optimize and manage this profile for every client because it’s one of the highest-leverage tools in local SEO. Keeping it updated, responding to reviews, adding photos, and ensuring accuracy all signal to Google that your business is active and trustworthy. It’s included in every plan at no additional cost.
Yes. We work remotely with home service businesses across the entire United States. We learn your specific market: your service area, your local competitors, and the exact terms homeowners in your city use when they need your trade, and we build your strategy around what is actually happening there.
Pricing & plans
Three plans, all month-to-month with no contracts and no setup fees: Starter at $1,200/month covers 25 keywords and 1 blog article per week. Intermediate at $2,000/month covers 50 keywords and 2 articles per week. Pro at $3,500/month covers 100 keywords and 4 articles per week. Every plan also includes Google Business Profile management, on-page optimization, backlinks, unlimited website copy and a monthly report.
No contracts. No setup fees. Every plan is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime. We operate this way on purpose. We have to earn your business every single month. If we’re not delivering, you should be free to leave. That accountability is why we show up consistently for every client.
The plans differ in two things: the number of keywords we target and the amount of content we produce each month. More keywords means broader coverage across your service area and trade. More blog articles means faster authority-building with Google. Most new clients start on the Starter plan to see results, then upgrade to Intermediate or Pro as their business grows. You can move between plans at any time.
Yes, anytime. There are no penalties and no lock-in. If your business is growing and you want to capture more of your market, you can upgrade. If you need to scale back temporarily, you can downgrade. It’s your call every month.
No. What you see in the monthly price is what you pay. No onboarding fees, no technology fees, no surprise charges at the end of the month.
Timeline & results
We’ll be honest with you here, because most agencies aren’t: SEO is not a quick fix. Google Business Profile and local citation improvements can start showing movement in 30 to 60 days. Full keyword ranking improvements typically take 90 to 120 days. Significant, compounding results — the kind where your phone is consistently ringing from Google — are typically evident by Month 4 to 6. Contractors who get the most out of SEO are the ones who commit to the process and let the results compound over time. We know that’s not the flashy answer. But it’s the honest one, and we’d rather set clear expectations than overpromise and lose your trust by Month 2. If you need leads immediately, Google Ads or Facebook Ads will produce faster results. SEO is the long-term foundation — the lead source that gets more effective and less expensive over time.
Most contractors who’ve had a bad SEO experience were working with a generalist agency — one that also handles law firms, dentists, and retail stores. They used generic templates, targeted obvious keywords, and never learned how homeowners actually search for your specific trade in your specific city. We only work with home service businesses. Every keyword list, every blog article, and every strategy we build comes from deep knowledge of this one industry. That’s a different starting point than a generalist agency can offer — and it produces different results.
The outcome we’re working toward is more phone calls from homeowners in your area who are actively searching for your trade on Google. We measure this through: Keyword rankings: where your business shows up for your most important search terms Google Business Profile performance: impressions, calls, and direction requests Website traffic: how many visitors are finding you through search Monthly reporting: a clear summary of what moved and why
You’ll receive a clear monthly report showing your keyword rankings, Google Business Profile impressions and calls, website traffic, and the specific work completed that month. We don’t send jargon-heavy dashboards. You’ll be able to read and understand your report in about five minutes. If something isn’t working, we’ll tell you directly — and we’ll adjust the strategy. You’ll never be left wondering what’s happening with your account.
Working with us
On the call, we’ll pull up your business on Google live — no prep needed on your end. We’ll show you exactly where you rank for your most important search terms, how your Google Business Profile compares to competitors, and what specific gaps are costing you calls right now. If it makes sense to work together, we’ll recommend the right plan and you can get started that same month. If it doesn’t make sense for your business right now, we’ll tell you that honestly too. There’s no pressure and no commitment attached to the call.
Very little. We handle the SEO work — the keyword research, the blog articles, the on-page optimization, the backlink building, and the Google Business Profile management. You may occasionally be asked to review or approve content before it goes live on your website. Outside of that, your job is to answer the phone when the new leads start coming in.
A website is important for the full range of SEO results, but your Google Business Profile alone can generate meaningful call volume — especially for trades where homeowners search on Google Maps. If you don’t have a website, we can discuss the best path forward for your situation. If you do have a website, we’ll optimize it as part of your plan.
We ask the right questions before we build your strategy — your service area, the types of jobs you want most, your peak season, your biggest competitors, and what makes your business different from the next contractor in your city. We then research your market directly: analyzing how homeowners search for your trade in your area, what your competitors are doing to rank, and where the gaps are. Your knowledge of the local market combined with our SEO expertise is what makes the strategy work.
You’ll always know what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and how it connects to your goals. We send a clear monthly report on the first of each month. If something changes in your strategy or in your rankings, we’ll explain what happened and what we’re doing about it. You won’t need to chase us for updates.
Is it right for me?
Referrals are great — until they slow down. A bad month, a slow season, a few customers who move — and the phone goes quiet. SEO is the system that keeps leads coming in whether your last customer refers to you or not. The contractors who own their market on Google are the ones who never worry about a quiet month because they built a lead source that doesn’t depend on anyone else.
Three things: Specialization. We only work with home service businesses. No contracts. No 12-month contracts. No lock-in. Month-to-month, cancel anytime. Transparency. You always know exactly what you’re getting — and what it costs. Most agencies sell you a vague ”digital marketing package” and lock you into a year-long contract before you see a single result. We think you should be able to leave if we’re not delivering. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.
No. SEO benefits businesses at every size. A one-person electrical contractor in a smaller city can rank above a larger competitor simply by having a more optimized Google presence and more consistent content. The size of your business matters less than the quality and consistency of your SEO work — which is exactly what we provide.
You can cancel anytime with no penalties. Because every plan is month-to-month, you’re never locked in. We’ll close out your account cleanly and make sure you have everything you need to continue independently or with another provider.
